HANSON: If These Walls Could Talk

Jan 08, 2026 | Hanson

The new year is here and we have a lot of things on our minds. We are reflecting on the awesome things we have done in the past and looking ahead with a long view of things. This week's pic captures Isaac during sound check at the iconic Red Rocks in Colorado. We have had the chance to perform on that stage a couple times , the last time being a shared set with our friends in Blues Traveler and each time we have donned that stage it’s been inspiring.

What are some of your favorite locations to catch the band? Favorite memories? Where do you wish the band would perform? We have a long list of possibilities.

Community members know we are preparing for some changes, and we have a lot left to share, but regardless of what comes next, we are pulling inspiration from all the great things we have already seen come to fruition. Red Rocks, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall…Wow. Reflect on that!

In this week's Stories blog we hear about the final touches that made so many different albums, projects and songs become what they ultimately did. Some songs were just waiting for the final horn part, like the cherry on the top of the sundae. Sometimes it’s those details that make it all come together.

We hope you have a great week.

Isaac, Taylor and Zac

I do love to travel, but my favorite times are when you come close to my house.  The Filmore in Silver Spring MD has been good, The State Theater in Falls Church VA was great when you played there.  Someday I wish you would play Jammin' Java in Vienna VA but it's super small and I am afraid I would not get a ticket.  If I could see you anywhere in the world, it would be Madison Square Garden where my beloved Knicks play.

I absolutely loved the O2 in Bristol. The small intimacy of the venue made it feel super special.

I hope to see you perform there again 🤞🏻❤️ One Day...

My 1st Hanson concert was The Albertane Tour in 1998 at Woodland, Texas. When the concert was over, Issac, Taylor, and Zac came out with huge super soaker water guns. Since, i was sitting in the 2nd row, i got completely wet. Best memories and amazing concert.

Come back to Houston or anywhere in Texas and Oklahoma. I'm willing to travel to see you guys.

My favourite destination will always be Tulsa - this city is all about Hanson during HDays, and our visits there were like an Easter egg hunt. RGB tarts, 'Fansons Welcome's on the shop windows of many local businesses or Hanson songs played from every corner, which always makes my heart skip a beat.

We'll all miss the joy and camaraderie of being in Tulsa on Hanson Day.

Favourite memories? Getting an email with "Hanson Reporter for Toronto, CAN" in the subject line. Hardly anything can surpass that level of bliss. It was so surreal - I still have that audio message I sent to my friend/ colleague to share the news. He was so excited for me that he later sent my photo with Hanson to our community newsletter 😅

Sometimes it’s those details that make it all come together.

As someone who loves small details in songs, like a slight change of chords, or the way one of the brothers starts singing the third chorus a little bit higher than the first two choruses, I totally understand ❤️💚💙

And finally...

Where do you wish the band would perform? We have a long list of possibilities.

This sounds PROMISING 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

"What are some of your favorite locations to catch the band? Favorite memories? Where do you wish the band would perform?"

- All the BTTI Concerts are magic! <3 (Miss them sooooo much) - Curitiba/Brazil (2022 - home and good sound equalization) - Brasilia/Brazil (2022 - also kinda home - first and only first row - Thank you theater and numbered seats!) - Dallas (2015 - first and only The Walk) - Porto Alegre/Brazil (2011 + MOE concert - after too much time without having a Hanson concert) - Sao Paulo (2013 - fun with crazy puppets) - Sao Paulo - Programa Livre TV show (2000 - first time seeing Hanson live)

Jeez...it seems like a little nostalgic, isn't it? :)

I love the optimism in this weeks newsletter! I’m so excited for what’s in store while simultaneously reflecting on the past 28 years. I’ve been doing a “song of the day” on my Instagram story and it’s SO fun going through all the music.

As far as venues now that I have my passport, the skies the limit! However I need to plug a venue in my little hometown of Shippensburg, PA. The H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center would be a perfect place for you guys to perform! Check it out.

Till then….. THE MUSIC LIVES 🎶

What are some of your favorite locations to catch the band?

BTTI in Jamaica has been some of the highlights of my life. Transcendental musical experiences which sparked in me something I can’t describe.

Favorite memories?

Seeing String Theory was a spiritual experience. A hero’s journey which can be experienced through the music. This was in LONDON at the Royal Festival Hall and chats with the band after the show, brought me back to the fan club after many years in the rock n roll wilderness.

Where do you wish the band would perform?

GREECE! On a Greek Island. BTTI EUROPE! Παρακαλώ 🙏🏼

Would love you for you guys to come back to the UK. The Red, Green, Blue tour was absolutely brilliant. My sister and I literally had the best night. Hope you have that experience again. ❤️💚💙🤞

Well, I after 41 shows I have to say BTTI had been my favorite concerts......I love getting those deep cuts, and tour shows don't usually include a lot of that. As a local Oklahoman, I'd love to see you guys play other Tulsa venues (other than cains) also maybe up the road in OKC. But I'll travel anywhere I can afford, and even if I can't afford I'm going anyway lol

Might I suggest one thing, a tour or show of just members EP songs......it would be epic.

Can't wait for my 42nd Hanson concert!

❤️💚💙

Red Rocks on the Albertane tour was my very first concert. That place will always be magical for me. I had no idea you had played there again! Even though I now live in Michigan I would 100% fly out to see you there again. Its hard to believe next year will be the 30th anniversary of Middle of Nowhere. Its been an amazing journey and Im so proud to still be a fan. Excited for news on what the future holds. Whatever you do and wherever life takes you, you'll always have my support. 🧡

If I can swing it, I'll travel anywhere to see you guys!   I really loved the concerts at the Rams Head in Baltimore. If you do Red Rocks again, I would move heaven and earth to attend that!  There's the Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville,  which is near me. Would love that too.  Never got to do BTTI, but would love to.

Hope you guys have some plans and ideas for what would make YOU happy.  You have done so much for us.... what's YOUR dream,  Ike, Tay, and Zac?

❤️💚💙

My favorite was in 2024. You played at Royal oak! It was perfect! Great space for you to play! I felt like it was a personal show! I was sad I didn't get to meet Taylor but meeting Isaac, Zac and your dad made my night! Your dad gave me marriage advice and it touched my heart forever! Thank you for the memories ❤️💚💙

During the RGB tour you guys played at the Astor theatre in Perth, Western Australia. An older and iconic theatre that I’ve been to many times before, but never for such an awesome experience! An intimate venue that felt so special, especially after all the covid lockdowns downs and isolation we experienced. The music, the dancing, singing along, jumping around (like a not almost 40yo 🤣) it was magic! I’ve started saving my pennies, for when you return, so I can experience your magic and music again and for a little longer hopefully 🙂

Definately prefer the music hall vibe, your dark lit standing venue with an accessable bar. Casinos or seated concert halls have always been my least favourite for any band as it just is such a quieter, maybe... akward? vibe. Its hard to get lost in the music and overall atmosphere. (Although this year seats were a god send in being in my late second trimester lol!!!) Danforth music hall, Pheonix etc in Toronto.  Also LOVE outdoor festivals... so fun.  Not sure if there are any Canadian festivals to hit up but that would be a bucket list show for surrrrre!!!!

I have many favorite places I've seen you guys, Hob in HOLLYWOOD CA, The crystal ballroom was absolutely gorgeous place to play in Oregon. Than Seattle at the MOORE THEATRE could have gotten a pic with all 3 of you but I was too nervous to ask for one. Loved seeing you guys at the ALANTA SYMPHONY HALL, I was front row back than lol, loved seeing you guys in Maryland like I did back to back like that. So many wonderful memories seeing you guys ❤️💚💙

Y'all have chased so many dreams - its inspiring. Thank you for giving me one a fraction as cool as yours. This thing works when the feelings are mutual. Keep on shining Hanson fam! 💫💫💫💫💫

Esperamos continuar escutando e indo a shows do Hanson até bem velhinhas.

(Eu preferi escrever em português, pois é mais fácil demonstrar a emoção no meu idioma nativo).

Hey guys, I hope that a concert in Central Europe will be included in the long list of possibilities. Please come to Bratislava, Vienna or Prague sometime. (I'm afraid of flying, that's why I haven't seen you live yet) Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the friends I have thanks to you. I love you and miss you very much. Erika from Slovakia
