The fact that I am an extraordinarily bad bowler amazingly is a contributing factor to me loving the I Heart 2 Bowl Tournament! I love hosting a party for a game I am terrible at. It feels ironic in an amusing way. I also love getting everyone’s blood flowing with a little friendly competition. (Can’t help it that I am a gamer!) Bowling is great for a wide variety of people. Young or old, fit or flabby, all can play and be competitive with a little form. I am looking forward to giving out the trophies at this year’s award ceremony, and showing off the 2015 bowling ball.

This is super exciting. I am terrible at bowling...but I have decided to join the tournament. I may just surprise myself. This will be my very first year bowling in Tulsa, so you can bet I am pumped. Especially since I am doing it with friends that I haven't seen in a while and friends I haven't even met yet.
I am particularly fond of the Flintstones picture you used. It is awesome. Can't wait.

I thought about bowling but I suck and traveling alone I didn't want to get thrown into a team that actually wants to try and win, so I saved the money instead. Bowled the first year and had a blast!
Zac I'm bad enough I had to start cheering for gutter balls because that's all I can get.

I am a terrible bowler!!! I am not great at sports in general, but for some reason with bowling, I get really mad and upset when I play. Don't know why specifically with bowling, but I've pretty much given up on it and just go to bowling parties for the social aspect. Good luck to all the tournament participants!!

I woke 3 of my kids up when I read the headline of this blog. I laughed so hard because I kind of pictured you as Fred Flinstone dropping the ball on your foot. Not that your pain is comical or anything but, I found the senario humorous.

I'm not a great bowler by any means, but I was thankful that my brother-in-law (who is a great bowler) taught me a little. So, I'm "decent" Although I still get gutter balls and still completely miss pins.
But I agree bowling is a game anyone can play and be competitive in. Enjoy the irony of hosting the event, I am sure you'll have some fun along the way!

I am convinced that there is not such a thing as a bad bowler. What is missing is practicing.
After a long time without playing, I always suck at first, but then after a few minutes, I get warmed up again and I am ready against my father.

I'm so excited! I'm not that great at bowling, but I really enjoy playing it. I'm glad my team and I decided to compete this year as we've had for the last three years. I've already started practicing. Lol! So you'll see me there again, Zac. Hopefully, we'll get that trophy this year ;D

Last time I went bowling I had a full on Fred Flintstone moment. I was about 15 or 16 and my youth group was having a party at the local bowling joint. I went to bowl and my shoelace made me trip making my foot go over line by about two inches causing me to slip onto the lane flat of my back. I literally slid half way down the lane ball still attached to my hand. If that wasn't bad enough getting back up the lane was worse. It was so slick I couldn't get any footing to stand with out falling again, so I had to crawl back up the lane. I was so embarrassed I spent the rest of the night crying in the bathroom. Thank goodness I can laugh about it now, but I vowed then never to go bowling again and I have kept that promise ever since. If I were able to go to Hanson Day, bowling is the only thing I would NOT participate in, lol. I wish everyone else the best of luck though <3

Not a sausage! Never! There's nothing that gets my blood boiling and that vein in my temple MMMBoping in the wrong way, more than ten pin bowling... each to her / his own though. There's probably some who find it as relaxing as trying to get a golf ball out of the rough.
