If you are a HANSON fan, you don’t want to miss HANSON Day.  Each year in May, HANSON hosts members from all around the world in Tulsa, OK for a weekend long celebration of music, art and community.  Hear brand new songs performed for the first time, go inside the multi-tracks of classic HANSON albums and experience one of a kind pieces of art created exclusively for HANSON Day.

All Hanson.net fan club members get free admission to the HANSON Day concert, State of The Band talk and the HANSON Day Art Gallery.  There are also special ticketed events like the I Heart 2 Bowl Tournament, Movie Night, the HANSON Day Lectures, and More.

All you have to do to attend is have an active fan club membership (valid through at least May 17, 2015) and RSVP for the event in the Hanson.net calendar section.  We hope to see all of you in Tulsa this May.

 RSVP

The first step to attending Hanson Day is to RSVP. To RSVP, go to the Calendar section of Hanson..net. Look for the Tulsa, OK - HANSON DAY WEEKEND event. You'll see an RSVP button - click it. That's it. You've RSVP'd. Once you RSVP, you can proceed to the store to purchase tickets for any of the special events you would like to attend.

Every year HANSON hosts a free concert for Hanson.net members as a part of the HANSON Day Weekend. This concert features brand new music that has never been performed live, as well as member favorites from past albums and EP’s. Over the years the HANSON Day Concert has also played host to the recording of albums and EP’s like:

Lectures & After Party

The HANSON Day Lectures are one of the coolest ticketed events held during the HANSON Day weekend. Each of the three lectures is hosted by a different member of HANSON.  Whether it’s learning about the making of one of HANSON’s albums by diving into multi-tracks with Isaac, writing and recording music live on stage with Zac or sharing song stories with Taylor, the HANSON Day lectures are a one of a kind experience not to be missed.

Take Off Your Digital Pants!
Watch and learn how many of HANSON’s most random and lively songs are created in this one of a kind music making experience, as Zac takes you through the process of recording a song with a little help from the Hanson.net community.

Every week from March 13th to April 24th Hanson.net members will vote to decide the direction the music in the Drop Your Digital Pants lecture will take. Whether the song is fast or slow, about lost love or a lost pet. No matter what answers come out on top, only the members attending the lecture will get to hear the final results first hand.

Go to the HANSON Asks section of Hanson.net every Friday through April 24th to vote on a new question.

Inside This Time Around
Take a look inside HANSON’s second album This Time Around with Isaac.  Listen to the un-mastered multi-tacks, ask question, listen to stories and request to hear your favorite HANSON songs like never before.  You want to hear, an acapella version or a guitars only version, what about the stuff that didn’t make it to the album?  Don’t miss this one of a kind experience, only available to Hanson.net members.

Song Stories
Every Song has a story, and Taylor wants to hear yours. As a part of the HANSON Day lecture events Taylor will host a special conversation with guest Hanson.net members focused on the stories and inspiration behind HANSON songs from the past 23 years. During the lecture, guest members will swap stories about song lyrics, meanings, melodies and more, and Taylor will talk about the inspiration, origin and vision behind the songs members highlight.

How To Submit Your Song Stories

• Write your story about a song that is special to you (lyrics, meaning, melody, where you first heard it, Etc…)
• E-mail your song story to hansoncontest@hanson.net with the subject "Song Stories”
• Include your name, Hanson.net username and email within the email body
• Stories should be 1-300 words
• Include all text within the email, no attachments
• HANSON will select five members to join Taylor on stage during the Song Stories lecture
• You must be a Hanson.net Member attending the HANSON Day 2015 lectures to submit a story
• All entries must be submitted by April 12th.

Each $25 lecture ticket grants access to the three lectures on Friday May 15^th, as well as free entry to the After Party, hosted by Taylor Hanson at Cain’s Ballroom on Saturday night May 16^th after the HANSON Day concert.

Art Gallery

Explore the visual side of HANSON’s creative process at the HANSON Day Art Gallery in the surroundings of the pristine second floor gallery of the AHHA building in downtown Tulsa.  The gallery features dozens of photos, paintings, and one of a kind art pieces all created by Isaac, Taylor, or Zac.

Fan Club Dinner

I Heart 2 Bowl Tournament

Be part of the 4th Annual I Heart 2 Bowl Bowling Tournament!

Held in downtown Tulsa at a beautiful eight-lane bowling ally, The Dust Bowl, the I Heart 2 Bowl Tournament is a must-attend for anyone looking for a little friendly competition during their HANSON Day weekend. Members can enter the tournament as a single player or with friends, but every player has to buy tickets individually, and we will match entrants up into teams of six. Space is limited, and slots fill up fast.

All players receive a team shirt, and the team with the highest combined score will be awarded commemorative trophies.
