Inspiration comes in many forms. This week's pic of the week comes from the incomparable Jim Henson, known for his boundless creativity and innovative spirit which spawned a completely original voice, articulated by great characters, great writing and what appeared to be a boundless commitment to his vision. There are few people in any generation who impact the world the way he did, but it is always good to be reminded just how powerful an individual and a big idea can be.
This weekend the industry gathers in Los Angeles to reflect on the years music with the Grammy Awards, and though no award show is a true reflection of what's “best” in art, it is a moment where our creative industry gathers to celebrate the many people making music which is impacting our culture and especially after the devastating fires in LA it is sure to be an especially important year for our industry. As members of the Academy who have had the privilege of voting and engaging with others for over twenty five years, it is always an honor to have a chance to cast a vote for the projects that have made an impact on us as music fans and exciting to think about what will unfold in the coming year across our industry.
We hope you have a great week wherever you are. Don’t forget to listen to the creative force in all of us, which is beckoning us to take the leap, and chase the muse.

Jim Hensen is such a talented individual who has produced so many good movies and television shows like Fraggle Rock, The Lambryth, & The storyteller and The dark crystal so many good voice overs as well. Thanks for the inspiration really need it at the moment. ❤️💚💙

Wisdom from a person that cared for others more than themselves and, unfortunately, neglected their own health. The world lost Jim Henson entirely too soon. 😔 May his work continue to inspire creativity ♡.
