HANSON: New is in the Air

The feeling of the new is in the air and the Underneath:Experience, North American Tour is right around the corner. New temperatures with a shift a few degrees cooler, New set lists every night as we prepare for this special tour featuring both acoustic and electric set lists, even NEW Hanson Brothers Beer coming to most the concerts throughout the tour which means many new states for the first time. Most importantly around the corner is the full release of the new Underneath:Complete album featuring the two brand new recordings, Penny And Me (moonlight Version), and our cover of the folk icon Pink Moon which points the way to the inspiration behind this album.
This week at HQ we are working on a lot of fun things, new merch for the fall tour and the online store, creative ideas for next springs HDay celebration and just around the corner the fall HNet Streaming concert at the Church Studio and it all ties back to the Underneath album.
Every album is an important mark in the musical story, but this one holds a special place as it represents a leap into the unknown in a new way with the launch of the label and a further commitment not only to trust our belief in the music, but also to trust the audience YOU. For every person that came out to a show twenty years ago, and the many times in between over the last twenty years, this whole project is a celebration of you, a celebration of the power of music and community and the little push that keeps us moving forward. I have been a loud and proud Hanson fan since 97’ didn’t go to my first official concert till 2001 with the This Time Around tour at 16, been to many a concert since, as well as a Hnet fan club member since 2003 I believe (parents said no to Moe Mag) and been to Tulsa three times for Hday! So I am very much looking forward to the vinyl release of Underneath Complete and share this musical ride with you Hanson! Thanks guys!
