Announcement Day!

It is funny to be thinking about HANSON Day and warm weather, because as we speak it is sleeting outside, but HDay is four months away and by then the weatehr will be warm.
Really the first ever Hanson.net event was the recording of Underneath Acoustic more then 20 years ago at the Church Studio in Tulsa. It was a historic studio for Oklahoma already, but it is now also a part of our HANSON history. At the time we didn't realize we were starting something, we haden't thought of hosting HANSON Day yet, it wouldn't take form in 2009, but we new inviting our most devout fans to be a part of the live recording was a good way to say thank you for waiting, and get excited!
This HANSON Day is themed around Underneath Acoustic in honor of that first event 20 years ago, we are really pleased to be revisiting those songs, and we hope you feel the same.
See you all in May!

Hanson Day has evolved and come such a long way since that first year I attended in 2009, where you gave us a map of your city and turned us lose to explore on our own. Funny how the world had to shut down to bring me back to those roots of exploring (in 2021) with the help of a good band as background music to those same explorations. So happy to now have the history of Route 66 to journey along with as well, so many open doors and unexpected sights and sounds because of the music. I never thought I'd be sad I'll be in Greece instead of Tulsa.. I'll make sure to play some Underneath Acoustic and rep while I'm missing it. Enjoy everyone.

i almost cried in the dentist chair (mouth fully open, so it was PEAK sexy) when the announcement went up.
being at the UA recording changed so much of who i was as a person at that moment and has shaped me in to the fearless wanderer i am now. i have 07.06.03 tattooed on me because it is really the day i can pinpoint that who i was changing into who i am.
it saved me in more ways than one. it was the day i realized you need us as much as we need you. that core memory is why i think i have stuck around through the good and the....well the covid years, we'll just call it that.
i already know this weekend will only continue the process started on 07.06.03

So excited of this ?.
The opening show of RGB really started something. Sure, I've dreamed of actually attend a proper concert (were at Oslo some yrs ago). But somehow with a big family, work and all it felt like something you just can't do. And then, when u almost lost hope of you guys ever coming to Finland...
It was so amazing! Were in the front row and felt mezmerized ? All the joy and comfort of my early teenage self got from your music went right through me. Met some amazing people too!
So, we decided to fly to see a show in UK. Complete strangers to each other. Said to my hubby. No worries. A Hanson fan just can't be bad. I was so right. Lots of fun and the best trip ever! Sorry though that we couldn't let you leave the venue ♥️
And now, me and my new Friends are heading to Tulsa. A dream i never let go...
Can't wait what happens next.

RSVP is in!! We can’t attend all the events (and some, like the roller skating, I’m too clumsy to attend lol) but I’m so excited for HTP, karaoke, Underneath Acoustic and the scavenger hunt!!! Is it next Monday yet??? ❤️❤️❤️

One day I'll have my Dollywood/Graceland/Hanson convention weekend...
Sad to say that day won't be till I'm rich and can afford traveling past western, PA.

I have never been to Hanson day and it is my dream to one day explore Tulsa, OK! Have fun to everyone who is attending! I am going to try to attend some virtual events. Maybe one day I can make the trip to see what this amazing event is all about!
