Anyone else still having issues?

Like with so many things related to Hanson Day, there has to be a better way than panicking at 10am sharp that the rooms are sold out online and on the app, having Marriott general reservations line slowly work through realizing I’m saying Tulsa and not Salsa, then telling me to call the hotel directly, then calling the hotel directly and them telling me they’re inundated with calls and they’ll get back to everyone in an hour. 

It’s just… can we help make this (and the merch store, and the online ticketing for events, etc) smoother with suggestions? 

Love Hanson Day but it feels unnecessarily complicated. 

Yes I would assume everyone is.....I have been refreshing since 9:55 CST and no rooms.

yes and I have been trying since 955am CST   never had rooms.

Actually had a room secured and began the checkout process, but then it changed to UNEXPECTED ERROR. Logged in again and repeated the whole process only to find NO ROOMS AVAILABLE 3 mins after they went on sale :(

I hope everybody is able to get a room! It's times like these that I'm glad I'm from here.

I don’t know how some people are still getting rooms and I’m seeing that it’s unavailable. It’s very confusing.

Was lucky enough to get the phone answered at the hotel. Those poor employees sound rough already. Luckily I know we are a gracious and patient group and will be nothing but nice to those that have no control over the situation they were put in. Anxiously awaiting my call back later today. 

Yeah, the website was a little stressed out.

Heads up if it's letting anyone select the room online and then when you click to book it tells you there is an error... that happened to me and I kept trying and it ended up booking five times for me even though each time it said there was an error and it didn't go through. 

@Jaime Try changing your dates. If you select ALL the dates for the whole week of Hanson Day I noticed it says sold out. But if you select specific dates you can still book now. 

Oh my goodness this stressful! It’s 1am here in Australia and I’m trying to not wake the house up by booking this over the phone. I have booked a room elsewhere whilst I’m waiting to hear back from Fairfield Inn. Do they have any events there? Will it matter if I stay at another Marriott? xx

@SML - it won't matter where you stay.  The Fairfield Downtown is just the closest hotel to all the events, so you may just have to walk or ride share a bit.

glad i got booked yesterday this seems like it was a nightmare. yikes

I didn't need a room but curious what were the rates?  Their "special rates" are usually inflated for the event.

Hello, last week I had booked two rooms in two different hotels to compare rates, I have just canceled one at the Hyatt Place Tulsa/Downtown if any of you needs one and wants to check. The Residence Inn downtown still had rooms available when I checked a little earlier.

Does any of you know if the Hop Jam festival will take place at all in 2024? isn't it usually right after HDAY?

I am on a waiting list.    I will wait for a month or 2.     Fairfield is Ideal due to how close it is.     Otherwise there are other hotels.     The one I stayed at last is actually cheaper but I don't mind paying more to be close.  

If you stayed there before the hotel sent out emails and had you fill out a form. I sent mine in the night before and then got a reservation right away
