Your Top Five Christmas Songs

We are making plans to record a new Christmas album, but that means thinking about Christmas in July.  More then just Christmas, we are talking about Christmas and holiday music.  We thought it would be cool to ask Hanson.net members to submit their ideas for songs that should be included and see if we can't turn our personal favorites into the ultimate mix tape.

Their is no guarenty what songs will make the cut, as their is a lot of planning and preproduction to be done before we record anything, but you never know what your ideas might inspire. Submit Here

Ornament

To bring the Christmas theme full circal we want members to vote on the 2016 HANSON Ornament.  We created a bunch of designs but we are going to let you cast the final vote. Vote Here

NOTE: You can also find the ornament voting and Christmas song submission pages by going to the HANSON ASKS page within the blog section.

I am terrible when it comes to Christmas music, I don't know anything about it! But as always...for you, Hanson, I'll do my best.

"Somewhere in my Memory" from Home Alone. You can't go wrong with John Williams. It perfectly captures Christmas for me and it's my go-to song every year.

so did I, Michelle. :)

@Bernadine I agree, I also chose John Lennon's Happy Christmas/War is Over. <3

..also chose and would love for them to do Blue Christmas/Elvis , Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth/Bing Crosby and David Bowie and

Silent Night (love the traditional version and also Stevie Nicks does a killer rendition that really moves me)

Carol of the bells! YESSSSS. My favorite! Yes, there is a lyric version, which is the one I suggested. Really I'm good with any version though. It is not Christmas until I hear Carol of the bells. ❤

@Englishrose81 - omg I completely forgot about NKOTB's Christmas song.

I went with original songs and then three of my top favorites. Silent Night is my #1 fave so I put that down for sure.

Posted Jul 9, 2016   11:27:10 PM

@englishrose81 - I suggested Mary Did You Know, too!
