After last weekend and its four streams and three live concerts, we are over the moon! It was so good to be back onstage sharing the sights and sounds of live music again. Thank you so much to everyone who watched online, and to the Hanson.net members who joined us in person. It was a pleasure to play for you! We can’t wait to do it all again in November!
Over the last 20 years, Hanson.net has become a bigger and bigger part of everything we do and 2020 is no exception. This year saw the launch of the HANSON Time Podcast, the 20th video series, the release of Continental Breakfast in Bed (longest members EP to date), the first event HNet Explorer game, and the return of Nightcap Streams, but we are adding one more to the list and making Hanson.net music the inspiration for our November Streaming Concert Series - Perennial Live, The Music Of Hanson Net.
Some of our favorite music that we have ever made comes from Hanson.net, and for the first time ever this November, we are going to be pulling the curtain back and sharing some of that music with the public. Along with the streams, on November 6th we will be releasing Perennial, A Hanson Net Collection. It’s twenty songs from the last two decades of Hanson.net music, as well as one brand new song (Nothing Like A Love Song). There have been so many songs shared with members over the year, from Never Let Go to I Hate Vegetables and we feel like the best possible way to invite people to see what they are missing is to give them a taste.
We’re looking forward to all the concerts yet to come this year, and to the new year, a world tour, a new album and 2021 members EP that we will start recording in just a few months.

I have a question, don't know if this was asked/answered before... is "Nothing Like A Love Song" a brand new song made specifically for Perennial or was it written for any past albums/past EPs?

I find it very odd that I Hate Vegetables is mentioned as an example if it won't be on Perennial...within the context of the sentence it's used in, it seems very randomly used and very much like an oxymoronic statement...lol... 🤷🏻♀️🤔😆🙃

Since the new CD isn't even available to download until Nov 6th, that means non members won't really be able to sing along during the Live Streams, right? They wouldn't have had enough time to get to know the lyrics.......I hope that doesn't matter to non members and that you still get a ton of people streaming! I listened to the preview of "Nothing Like a Love Song" a few days ago and I love it, but it doesn't seem to be working right now. I will try again later though. Thanks for all of this guys! So stoked for everything to come!
P.S. Can you please play "My Favorite Christmas Sweater" and "Blue Christmas" during your December live streams? Pretty please? With whipped cream and a 🍒 on top?

I'm super excited for all the things that were mentioned in this newsletter! The guys have definitely been putting out a ton of quality content this year!! I'm really excited for all the remaining live streams and I'm REALLY hoping the world is back to being normal enough to be able to go to a live show in person next year!!

@Laura I thought the same thing! 😂 I’m over here like, if a song from the Digital Pants series isn’t performed in November that’s just mean hahaha. I’m already dying for new stuff. That kind of rare performance would definitely help. At this point I feel like they’re just mocking me. 😆

It's off Edible Digital Pants. It was an exclusive release to those attending the Listening Party at HDay 2019.

I'm pretty excited about this theme! Since I wasn't in the fan club for a minute, some of these songs are brand new to me, and the rest I've only heard a few times. I'm over the moon that I have something to immerse myself in besides current events in the world (reality is terrible right now). Thank you, Hanson, for giving me and so many others something to look forward to. There's been so much new on Hanson.net lately, it has been so great to be able to distract myself.

@Brit If you go into the vinyl option in the store, there's a preview for it under there. (For some reason, it won't work for me under the cd option, but it should be available to preview there too.)
