HANSON: A Mix of Feelings

Mar 27, 2026 | Hanson

This week is a mix of many feelings. You have seen a show announcement pop up this week bringing us to the east coast, and it always feel good to know we will be sharing live music with YOU. We also know there will be more live shows coming and we’re looking forward to each one.  On the bittersweet side of our world, we shared earlier this month a message related to our Hanson.net membership no longer continuing for the foreseeable future.

Now we are in the last few days of the membership offering we have offered for over two decades and that has our hearts and minds getting all the feels. We are thinking about the awesome things we have done together over the last 25 years with the member's community. The opportunity to cultivate the members community helped us to try new ideas and to cultivate special experiences from the early recordings of our acoustic Underneath at the Church Studio in Tulsa, to the Back To The Island events for more than 10 years and of course the many multifaceted Hanson Day events. These experiences have been incredible and though we are making a change,  we also know that exciting things will come with each new season.

Looking to this  week's Stories blog, you can find a thread which connects with this moment, as it looks through the lens of Rock N Roll Razorblade, an iconic member's song which embodies the passion we have for music and the journey we all go on as we pursue a life well lived. A life well lived often means taking risk, not playing it safe and if we want a longer lifespan, we learn it’s important to keep an eye on the future while we dare the scars to form.

Excerpt from Stories Part 21.
In the immortal words of Alfred Lord Tennyson “Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”. So, If we get to love, listen, feel, touch, and share the beautiful experiences of life’s journey, maybe the trade off is the missing that comes with it. You don’t miss things you don’t love. Things that challenge you bring greater joy, and things of joy open your heart to all the feelings both high and low. Ah, The journey is the destination.

Back to the daily affairs, we hope everyone took advantage of the Digital Only sale and grabbed a few things for their catalog, also don’t miss this weeks members only series as we round out the Underneath Experience Blog series along with this weeks Stories blog mentioned above.

At the top of our list is gratitude! Gratitude for our incredible community, and for your trust to allow us to start things and also to pause things to leave room for new discoveries. Look out for some more shows coming up and wherever you are we hope you are having a great week full of inspiration, and music. Don’t forget to roll the windows down and turn the music up!

Isaac, Taylor and Zac

Its nice to have at least some form of acknowledgement. Many of us have given 29 years and it was starting to feel weird. Thankyou.

I want to hope this newsletter has been written by all three of them, but either way I'm sure each of the brothers shares the sentiment of the post.

I am forever grateful to Hanson for some of the best experiences and most cherished memories of my life and, most importantly, for the music.

Who would have known that tentatively pushing the REC button back in 1998 on my VHS cassette recorder, when MMM Bop came on, would be the start of a long joyful musical ride?

All things must pass, but I have a glimmer of hope that one day they'll decide to hire a studio and record a new album together.

Will miss being a part of this community, it’s been lovely being inside the fan club. ❤️💚💙

I think a lot of us feel that Hanson’s music has helped shape our identities. 🎶

I am so grateful that I got to visit Tulsa for Hanson day a couple of years ago and so blessed to have had the most wonderful adventures with you guys in Jamaica. 🏝️

Glad the band is still doing stuff. I will still be keeping up with you guys are up to and I look forward to seeing at least one show this year. 🇺🇸

Thank you Isaac, Taylor and Zac. God Bless! 🙏🏼

I just hope membership preservation and the content it was attached to won't... disappear. I don't understand any of this, so i don't know what to think.

Thank you Isaac, Taylor, and Zac for sharing your artistry with us over the years and it’s an honor to be a Fanson and a Hanson.net member. I’m looking forward to seeing you perform at Busch Gardens in April and any other concerts I’m able to attend. God bless you and your families and your future endeavors, and thanks for the memories and giving all of us, but myself in particular an awesome soundtrack on this musical ride known as life!

Hanson,

There are so many thoughts right now to try to put in to words. As I said in the forums, I will follow you on your journey, regardless of where it goes. I am a loyal street team member that would really like to know what is happening next with our street team community. At this point all arrows point to it’s dissolving of and no longer needed. Which is unfortunate, because, like you, each street team member has so many skills, gifts, and talents that could be utilized to help Hanson take the next step on their new journey. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac, please remember you have an army of people here waiting and willing to do whatever it takes to help you realize your new goals and dreams. Thank you all for memories of Tulsa last year at my first Hanson Day. It was a time of my life I will never forget. Due to your concerts, street team community, Hanson Day and your music, I have developed wonderful friendships with other fans. It’s this community who is pulling together to celebrate Hanson Day a little farther north than Tulsa this year and are going to have a blast. It’s you, the band, who inspires us to keep going and to keep venturing on our journey too. It was you that inspired me to create a little group of a few people who love Hanson in Canada, and we have grown to over 100 members, a Facebook group, and an Instagram page in just a year. It is this group I choose to surround myself with during all of these changes. It is this group I meet up with for dinner or lunch. It is this group I share my personal stories and experiences. It is this group whom I care about very deeply. And I have this group because of you and your music. With that, I say thank you. Thank you for the music that has connected us all together. Thank you for the kindness and appreciation over the last 30 or so years (since ‘97 in Canada!) Thank you for this fan club, meet and greets, and reporter interviews. Thank you for the behind the scenes videos and photos from the road. Thank you for HTP and Grace Unknown. Thank you for scavenger hunts, and members only EPs. Thank you for the CDs and the vinyl. Thank you for the members only lines and merch. Thank you for live music and the media player. Thank you for BTTI and Hanson Day. Lastly, thank you for sharing your lives with all of us since 1997. Without Hanson, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

Thanks for listening,

Jen Richards Maurice, Street Team Member and Admin for Canadian Hanson Fans.

It’s truly been a gift to be able to enjoy your music since 1997. We were kids/teenagers for MON. Then as young adults, just starting out, we were blessed with TTA and underneath. The Walk saw us in that era too. By the time of Shout it out, some of us were starting families. Anthem was released at a time when we were becoming content in who we are. I know life has of course been different for everyone. Once those yearly EPs started, we looked forward to May with such anticipation. The EPs shaped this fandom. A little gift between albums and projects.

I cannot THANK YOU enough ISAAC, TAYLOR and ZAC. You’ve been the glue in my life for almost 29 years. Your music is the soundtrack to my life and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Now, take some time for YOU. No one knows what the future holds. I hope you guys can come back as HANSON better than ever. If not…. I’ll be supporting you individually. And of course for the 29 years of music. THE MUSIC LIVES!

I've definitely been in my emotions as I've been going through the archive. Especially yesterday as I was going through the blogs from 2022 and realizing how close it is to March 31st. It's been a great ride so far! Here's to the future, new ideas and challenges! Onward we go! Thanks for the ride so far!

You guys are amazing! The change will definitely bring you to new heights. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have connected in a community of weirdos and find our forever friends, no matter the distance. You created that. Your music heals, brings people together, and no matter what comes next I’m excited to see your power of influence grow! No matter if it’s an open mic night, in Tulsa, a video game stream, or through the production of collaborative work with other artists your presence makes it authentic and engaging! Think big and keep living the dream! 🙌

See you on tour! Perhaps a Xmas show in Tulsa! Our family had the best time in 2025, the parade, food in the move gave out bananas 😆 Dinner at Rosevelt’s was also a highlight! The decorations are epic and when our son saw Santa in that environment he just lit-up!

Thank you so much for all the work and effort that was put into HNet, it truly felt like a community in which we all felt at home. All the perks, all the Members Only Events, all the content you put your sweat and tears into all these years.
I think HNet is and will always be a one of a kind fan club experience, it's unmatched and I never saw any other artist work so much exclusively to their fans as Hanson did.
I've had the privilege to join all the three MOEs in Brazil and I'm very thankful for that!

It's sad to see all of this go away, but I guess it's time for new begginnings for all three of you.
Wish you guys all the best!

I’ve been trying to find the right words after reading your message, and honestly, I don’t think there are perfect ones just honest ones.

I’ve been with you since I was 13 (1997) long before Hanson.net even existed. Your music has been part of my life for decades  through growing up, becoming a mum, and everything in between. It’s been more than just songs… it’s been comfort, memories, and something constant I could always come back to.

Hanson.net was such a special extension of that a place where that connection grew even deeper. It gave us community, experiences, and moments I’ll always carry with me.

Hearing that this chapter is closing is really emotional. It does feel like the end of something big. But I also understand what you’re saying about change and making space for what’s next, and I trust that whatever comes will carry that same heart.

Thank you for being part of my life for so many years. Thank you for the music, the memories, and for always making fans feel like we mattered.

I’ll always be here, still listening, still supporting, still grateful.

With love,
Roseanna (Rosie)

I don't know where to begin with how this is making me feel. I will forever be greatful to you all for this amazing fanclub and community. Your music has been and will always be a part of my everyday life, so I just hope that there will come a time when you guys are ready to release new music and head back to the UK. But for now, sending so much lobe and thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️💚💙  xxx

...dunno where to start and end as so many of us here and now...
For about the last two years I assumed that there would be changes like this to come.
I totally undestand that this is necessary and just natural after decades of playing, composing and working together and I just wanna say thanks again for everything that was shared and done!
Though I wasn't here all of the time, it was my connection to all of us here. Since I can't afford to fly to the US for a Hanson concert and since I'm afraid there won't be any international tour in near future (if we will have that at all again one day), March 31st marks the end of a lot for many of us I think. We had the possibility to connect and to participate - even if we couldn't attend concerts and events.
I'll treasure all beautiful memories (concerts; M+G,...) and remember much that was shared here (the connection among fans; the livestreams that were so much fun,...).
So now I'm trying to hold onto the things that will last: That hanson.net will remain; that maybe we can see some shows online in future (? that would be awesome!); that hopefully there will be new music and that maybe I can see the band live again one day...
At this moment all that’s left for me to say is:
Bye guys and thank you again for everything! It was lovely to have all that here...
I'll miss you like crazy... - I gave you my heart who could've blamed me... 🥲❤️💚💙🫶

Thank you guys for the lovely memories you have given us fans. I won an online reporter during covid and that zoom call was just amazing! I won a M&G on the RGB tour and it was a dream come true. Like Yulia said above,I too pressed record on my hifi back in summer 1997 when mmmbop came on the radio not realising how much i could LOVE one band. Im raising two more fansons 😆 keeping the hanson love alive here in Ireland 🇮🇪 I am soooo desperately sad that I didn't get the chance to attend BTTI. It was my dream. But finances wouldn't allow and now its not looking likely. Thank you Hanson for this beautiful musical ride. I've been a fan since 97 and will live in hope of more international gigs in the future. I know its the end of an era and it's true.. You don’t miss things you don’t love. But it hurts. 💔 Love from Sinead in Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤️ 💚 💙

Sinead: You said it all perfectly (I don't raise new fansons and were no online reporter but all the rest!) 🥰🥲💔
