HANSON: A Blistering Pace

Week one has come to a close, and it has gone really well. This week, we began recording our 2023 Members EP (Ambient), but unlike years past where we raced to the finish line with reckless abandon, we are slowing the pace down this year to fit the mood of the music. In the past we have started each day with a blank slate. The goal would be write and completing a song in one day. Yes, it is a blistering pace. Certainly highly enjoyable… but that much pressure is also highly stressful, and not really in line with the concepts shared for this year.
The title Ambient means different things to each of us, but there is a shared theme of the space between. Letting the music breathe was really important, and I think it is already creating the results we had hoped for. We will jump back into things in a few days, but members can check the blog to start to get a few sneak peeks into what we have created so far.
Be on the look out for the latest episode of the HANSON Time Podcast that was posted today. More soon.

I have up social media for lent so i have been out of the Hanson loop on there, grateful for hanson.net so I can read updates. Thanks guys! Hope to see you this year
