We have a lot to share this week. It is official! The String Theory album will be released on November 9th. In anticipation of the coming release, today, you can hear the first full song from the album, premiering NOW on NPR.org. Make sure you also check out our video series about why we made String Theory on YouTube, as well as more Behind The Scenes footage just posted for Hanson.net members.
In other big news this week, we are also planning to announce the first leg of international String Theory concerts later this month, featuring dates in Europe and Australia. Check out the official press release here.
String Theory will be released on November 9th, but Hanson.net members will get the first listen to the 23 song double album as part of a Members Only streaming listening party on November 1st, a week before the album releases to the public. Find more details about the stream by visiting the calendar section of Hanson.net. Fan Club Members, don’t forget to Request a M&G at any of the String Theory shows you will be attending and make sure to check in during the show.

Wahooooo! Thanks for the reminder about meet and greets, but I'm thinking that since there wasn't a Meet and Greet for Pittsburgh (the only show I could go to), ya'll should just come to my house and meet and greet me instead. Thx. See ya soon!

I love the sound of Siren Call. Perfect blend of the symphony. I was worried because for the first couple of songs they previewed I couldn’t hear the symphony as prominently. But No Rest and Siren sound fantastic. Please do a full release of the new songs before the concerts really get going! I want to have a connection before I experience them at the concert.

The day before our concert in Boston!! *deep sigh* It will be a great antidote to the post-concert blues ;)

I had a thought, it’s going to sound controversial but I’ll say it anyway. I think a few, if not more, of these songs the String Theory will become the definitive version of a song we thought was perfect as-is. I watched the No Rest for the Weary clip on YouTube and heard that chorus one more time and I really feel like that’s the way the song was meant to be played. It’s rare that I feel like that for a reimagined song.

So excited!!! But now I'm faced with do I listen in on the listening party or wait to hear it live on Nov 10th first....decisions decisions

International dates were initially hinted as being on more than one other continent and an island... I wonder if that's going to expand.
Listening Party sounds great though -- like a live stream (audio will be live)?

Thursday night in Tulsa is Friday morning in Sydney. Please, please, please loop the listening party over the weekend so that fans on the other side of the world can tune in after the work day! Thank you.

It's always exciting to hear all this upcoming news about touring and the release of String Theory. I can't wait to see the weekly video's.

November 9th happens to be the date I saw my first Hanson concert ever back in twenty eleven. I guess this doubles the excuses to remember that day, haha.!
Thank you for the listening party, I feel a little less forgotten now as a part of the online community that can't see the ST shows in person. Can't wait.!

"I hope a copy is sent for Grammy consideration before the deadline." @erinlh
It appears that Hanson would not be eligible for a Grammy in 2019 (The 61st edition). The recordings have to have been released between October 1st, 2017 and September 30th, 2018 to be considered. ...There's always the 62nd edition though...
Our first String Theory concert falls right smack dab in between the listening party and the release date. Looking forward to November and everything good it brings... "Siren Call" sounds quite wonderful with an orchestra!

I am totally impressed with everything I have heard so far. Wish I could say I was going to a live show but I will have to settle for the upcoming album release instead. The clip on utube for No Rest For The Weary is incredible, the arrangement takes that song to a new level! I imagine this will be true for many of the songs. Can't wait to hear the whole show
