I am from Norway, but for the last 12 years, I have lived in North Dakota. I was planning to stay until I graduated in May, with my Ph.D. in Educational Foundation and Research, but Corona changed that. Rather abrupt, I packed up my apartment in less than a week and moved back home to Norway. I don't think it has hit me just yet, that I am now back in Norway full time. It is definitely going to take some time to adjust to that, but my lovely parents are making it a lot easier. It is definitely hard starting over again at almost 32. The idea of having to find a job, a home, a car, a person to share my life with, etc., is a lot to deal with all at once, but also very exciting! As a close my USA chapter, a huge door is opening and I am just learning to take one step at the time and not dwell too much on what I wish had happened in life. Though as cheese as it may sound, I am very grateful to have Hanson in my life - as they will always be the energy and passion in life, fueling my drive to become the person I aspire to be!
