HANSON are the clean-cut rock band that clean-cut observers like to liken to the original '60s buzz of The Beatles. As part of their second visit to Oz, the boys played the Great Hall at the Brisbane Convention Centre and confirmed their rather elite appeal. The groovers they attracted were young, trendy, well-dressed and edgy. Such relative sophistication did not dampen the show's live vibe. The band hit the stage 30 minutes later than scheduled, amped it up for over two hours and tore at the very core of their admirers. Hanson charm hit exactly the right notes.
