Congratulations to the winner of the Rock Boat Contest! The winner is Jess Griffin from Clemson, SC who organized the largest walk during the contest period with 586 participating walkers!
 
As the winner, Griffin  will receive accomodations for the Rock Boat IX (sailing Jan 17 - 22, 2009), including one 2-person cabin and all concerts. HANSON will be performing on the Rock Boat and looks forward to seeing the winner as a part of the event. For more information, visit rockboat.com.
 
Thank you to all those that have organized walks and lead the way by taking action in their communities, making a direct impact on extreme poverty and AIDS in Africa through their actions. We are encouraged and inspired by the walks that have been hosted to date and those that are continuing.
