NOTE: I'm not good at writing in English so excuse me if my words do not make sense! It was very hard for me to express how it was even in my mother language.
It was my first time to see Hanson's concert - not just me, all the fans in Japan! I can't tell you how I was excited and happy. The most thing I didn't expect was, IT TOTALLY ROCKED!!!! I think it was not like usual acoustic performance, because we were dripping with sweat ;o) Zac beated drums and Tay climbed on piano and the audience screaming!!! I had a lot of fun.
The show started with a song "Strong Enough to Break"! The fans were screaming at Hanson but I thought many of them didnt know well the songs from Underneath Acoustic. They played about 20 songs from the old songs to the new songs. Japan never had a concert so the fans were very very happy to hear lots of the songs from "Middle of Nowhere" and "This Time Around". Of course they played some new songs- I think Zac played the song called "Tightrope". I was so surprised he's very good at singing as he played the piano... his beutiful voice echoed through the hall. and "Crazy Beutiful"- Oh my god, how beutiful this song is!!!! Taylor played the piano with dexterous fingers and the fans were totally fascinated. Isaac - played "Hand in Hand"(his solo). "Rip it Up" was great!!! Each time I hear his emotional voice, he's getting better and better at singing and playing the guitar. I remember how I was excited when they played "You Never Know". Taylor looked very excited too! "Penny and Me" and "Hey"- the new songs I really wanted to hear!
During the show they were trying to say some words in Japanese like "Tsugi-no uta ha..(the next song is..)", "Arigato (thank you)" and "Minna Daisuki (I love you all)"! It was very funny but so cool!!!
The song I was moved deeply was "Mmmbop". Some of the fans thought it was too old to play.. yeah, I think so too, before the show, I actually thought I didn't want them to play that song anymore...but as they played it, it was like I was opening my album, looking back on lots of memories since I was a fan of them.. Many fans were moved to tears. Taylor directed his mike at the fans, we were singing the song together. I was very very happy to sing along the song with Hanson.
The show ended with "A Song to Sing" and they played "This Time Around" as an encore. All I can say is the show was totally amazing. It was the best concert I have ever seen in my life! I want to say thank you to Hanson for having that great show in Japan!!! We can't wait for the new album coming out!
After the show the members of Hanson.net got a Meet & Greet with Hanson!!! I was so happy and excited because I wanted to tell them how it was great. I and my friends had a fan gatheing before the show and they wrote their messages to Hanson on the board, I gave it to Zac and I took a picture with them! The picture is one of my greatest treasures:o) Thank you so much for having that special event for the members!
HANSON DAISUKI forever!!!
