The new Hanson single 'Penny & Me' went straight in at No. 10 in the UK singles chart this weekend.

'Penny & Me' is the first single to be released from their new, third studio album 'Underneath' (Cooking Vinyl) - out this Friday, February 4th. The album has already gone to No. 1 in the U.S. Billboard Independent Chart, and to No. 25 in the Billboard Album Chart. The album's title track was co-written with Matthew Sweet (The Thorns).

The video for 'Penny & Me' features Samaire Armstrong (aka Anna in The OC), and was directed by Chris Applebum (Fountain of Wayne's 'Stacy's Mom').

Tickets for their full electric show at The Ambassador on March 22nd are on-sale at 9am this Thursday, February 3rd. Hanson played a special acoustic show for their Irish fans at a sold-out date at the Temple Bar Music Centre back in November of last year.

Ahead of the release of their new album, 'Underneath', this coming Friday and their Irish date at The Ambassador on March 22nd, brothers HANSON have just gone in at No. 10 in the UK singles charts with their brand new single, 'Penny & Me'.

'Penny & Me' also went in at No. 28 in the Irish Top 30 this weekend. Hanson treated their Irish fans to a special taster of 'Underneath' as well as playing all their biggest hits at a sold-out acoustic show at the Temple Bar Music Centre back in November.

They are now returning to Ireland for a full electric show in March!
