Hanson will perform in Argentina March 18
Thursday, February 24, 2005

The brothers Hanson will perform in Argentina on March 18, part of their world tour “The Underneath Tour”.

The tour's name comes from their latest record that Isaac (guitar and vocals), Taylor (lead vocals, keys and percussion) and Zac (vocals and drums) are performing live, in the case of these pampas, with a show planned for the Gran Rex port theater.

“Underneath” is a disc that bears three years of Hanson’s work. “Penny and Me” is the first single selected for release.

The brothers Hanson became famous on a global level in 1997 with the single “Mmmbop” from the album “Middle of Nowhere”, which sold eleven million copies and received three Grammy nominations.

At the end of the 90’s, Hanson was a pubescent pop band whose future was uncertain, given their young age. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, they are the oldest sons of seven children and were motivated by their father to play instruments at a young age.

The motivation wasn’t in vain. 2000 brought the second record from these three brothers, “This Time Around”, a little more rock and selling less than the debut album, but still not bad for such young artists, given that it sold a million copies.

“Underneath” is produced by their on label 3CG Records, and March begins the Latin American stretch of their tour.

Prior to their show in Argentina they will be in Mexico, Brazil and Peru.
Tickets are on sale through Ticketek.
