This Week

Six days left before we finish mixing, and then all that is left is one day of mastering the album. Every day we start off by reviewing what we did the night before, making any last changes and then moving on to the next track on our list. Things have been going well for the last week, and it looks like we are going to stay on track and just finish on time. While we are not yet finished mixing, all of our minds are starting to think about the next and final step, mastering. During mastering we will have to pick the final order for the album, and the final track listing deciding what will and will not make the new album. It is a hard decision, and one which every member of the band has there own perspective, but like always we will battle through until we come to a consensus.

In addition to the new album getting ever closer to its completion we are also charging head long into the other projects that go with the new album. Starting next month we will be announcing the first leg of the World Tour, the release date for the single, album and album packages. We will be announcing the name of the album and name of the documentary about the recording of the album. We are really excited to have everything lined up together for maybe the first time ever after twenty years as a band.

FAN CLUB EXCLUSIVE Back To The Island 2014
Only a Few Rooms Left!

Year one of HANSON’s Back To The Island destination concert event was incredible, and what a great way to start the year! Now it’s official - HANSON and Island Gigs are inviting you to make plans to kick off 2014 with them and a worldwide gathering of music fans for the second event in beautiful Jamaica - Back To The Island 2014!!!

During Back To The Island 2013, it was incredible to see people from all corners of the world come together to share in music, food, fun and sunshine, against the backdrop of beautiful Jamaica. As well as HANSON sharing some rare musical moments during the three concerts, there was a meet & greet and photos with everyone attending, and the band took part in some fun Jamaican Island activities. 2014’s event is a chance both for many people to join the band for a second year, and for some new faces to make their way Back To The Island.

The 5-day event is an all-inclusive island experience (drinks, food and a wide offering of activities, as well as an exclusive private beach), at the beautiful Breezes Grand Resort, reserved for the Back To The Island Concert Event.

Throughout the week of fun and sun, there will be entertainment each night, featuring three performances from the band in different configurations from a stripped down acoustic set, to full electric sets, as well as special activities that the band will take part in. In addition the event will also feature two other special performances from artist friends that the band has invited to join the festivities. 2013’s event featured great music from good friends Robert Schwartzman and Charlie Mars (details of special guests for 2014 will be announced at a later date).
