After a five-year international touring hiatus from many international markets outside their US home base, HANSON have announced their Shout It Out World Tour.

In addition to their already announced UK dates, HANSON has confirmed concerts in Europe, and Latin America, in conjunction with the international release of their acclaimed fifth studio album “Shout It Out”, set for release in those markets in fall 2011.

Fulfilling their pledge to fans for an international tour, the band began to build excitement with a triumphant run of five consecutive sold-out concerts in the UK as part of the 5of5 concert series, helping to set the tone for a return to the UK, Europe and Latin America as well as a full US fall tour.

The Shout It Out Tour will feature tracks from their acclaimed 5th studio album of the same name, as well as highlights from their previous four albums which include 8 top 40 singles in the UK and Latin America, spanning nearly 15 years of music. The tour will also feature the infectious single Give A Little and the soul inspired US debut single Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’.

The tour also builds on the band’s reputation as a dynamic live act, with acclaim both sides of the Atlantic. New York’s The Village Voice called them “The finest straight up rock band in America”, whilst the UK’s Sunday Times described their sound as “As perfect a slice of summer pop as you could hope to hear” and the Evening Standard as “… a gloriously soulful quality… Taylor was an electrifying presence.”

”Shout It Out” debuted in the US at #2 in the Billboard Independent charts. The album was produced and written exclusively by the band, and features special guests Funk Brothers’ bassist Bob Babbitt, and horn arranger Jerry Hey, who worked with Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Earth, Wind and Fire.
