I really enjoy the shows, they have a different energy about them that I absolutely love. Of course, they are also a nice way to introduce the music to friends and family who would normally not give it a chance.

Playing shows at the Disney parks is a different kind of thing. With so many ways for people to entertain themselves, you can feel a little bit like a side show but when you look out and see so many fans waiting in line as the sky opens up and starts raining cats and dogs your fears turn into pride and you start thinking "we mist be a pretty good side show!"
We were suppose to play six shows over two days, one was rained out so we only played five. It was a great time for us, and the audiences did not disappoint in their enthusiasm. You never know what you are going to get in a place like Epcot where people are visiting the parks for such a vast set of reasons, but we love the opportunity to surprise a could be fan, or change the mind of a doubter. We are family men and that has played into the enjoyment of this particular festival since the beggining. We know that many of you are also at a similar place in life and it doesn't hurt that the Disney Parks make it easy to have a great experience watching music.
Thank you so much to everyone who joined us, hope to see you again soon!

I've missed the last two years (chose tour over Epcot last year, this year I had a blackout date at work on the 28th), but I went the first three years and had a great time. I especially loved the year it fell on Halloween.
It's a fun change of pace to go spend all day running around the parks and riding rides instead of waiting in line with nothing to do. I'd definitely go back for another year if scheduling works for me (and finally squeeze in a day at Universal's Wizarding World).

It was my first time going this year and I absolutely enjoyed it! I spent a good majority of time in line and people would come up saying "Hanson? Like MMMBOP Hanson?" And I would play the new albums and tell them about MMMHops. So not only was it fabulous to get to go to the most magical place on earth and see one of my favorite bands, I got to tell people who would have other wise thought yall were still kids that you are still awesome.
The only problem I had with the shows is something that is completely out of your control and that was line cutting. People would have their friends waiting during the show just so they could get front row. Again. These people would get the front for every show and that takes away from others. I waited in line during the second set so I could at least be under the covered area during the third set on Monday and there were 16 people in front of me during the show. Once it was over that number doubled cause people kept jumping back in line. And even when disney emplpyees tried to stop it, they would sneak in when they turned their backs. Or, in another case, I had a woman lay her entire purse out along a whole row cause she was saving seats. Those people didn't wait.
Again, I know this is completely out of your control but, I guess I just needed to rant.
It was still amazing.

Also, the seminar this year was a great addition because it really tied in to the theme of the festival well!

I loved the shows. This was my first time to Florida and Disney world, growing up in California I never had the need to come since I had Disneyland. I recently moved to the south and was able to make the trip. I LOVED the whole experience. Y'all put on an awesome show, but you always do. I liked the fact that I could enjoy a show without being smashed from all sides. A typical show is very cramped and no room to move. It was fun to dance and move around freely. I will definitely be making the trip back next year if y'all are going to be there :) Only thing I would like to see is more order in the line, some people feel entitled to the front row at every show and have friends save spots in line or in the seats when they go into the show, I know I personally skipped the second show for front on the third show only to have a lot of people try to get back into the line in front of me because they know people there. I guess some people aren't familiar with sharing. #Ruuuude :) even soaking wet and not in the front I still had a fantastic time!

I agree with Emily. The shows were fantastic and it was interesting to see the diversity amongst the crowd. However, I do wish it was a little more organized. At times it was more than just a little chaotic, but I'd do it all over again!

This was my 2nd time to Epcot seeing yall and it was a blast. Getting lost in mexico with Margaritas was a (not going to lie) super fun. Playing Marco polo and singing in the rain and totally understanding why the first show was canceled (no fried poTAYtoes please) It was a flipping blast. Can't wait to do it again!

I wish I could go but usually don't make a trip to Disney unless it's the winter. But it sounds like everyone that went loved every minute of it.

This was my first year going to the Epcot shows and in typical Hanson fashion, they did not disappoint. It was definitely different than seeing a regular show on tour since they are 3 smaller shows, almost like you get all excited and into the show, then its over so we entertained our selves in between, usually by getting more mmmhops...
I did hear some guys talking behind me at the first show who hadn't heard Hanson since the 90s and were impressed with a lot of the new music as well as how many fans were singing every word to every song, so I agree with what some others were saying about getting the music to people who might now hear it otherwise.
