HANSON: The Love In Latin America

This Week, we have Latin America on the brain. This entire region of course each country, town and even venue can have a totally different feel, but in the spirit of celebrating the things that tie us together, let’s just say we LOVE Central and South America and the incredible fans who have come out to support the music so many times.
When we first came to the region in person in 2000, there were a lot less bands from the US making the quest south on a regular basis, so we felt extra privileged to do it. There is no mistake there is a raw energy in places like Mexico City, Sao Paulo and Rio, Buenos Aires and Santiago Chile. All of these places and more showed us incredible hospitality and made us want to come back.
Of course, to tour the world is such a rare gift we have always tried to discover the local customs , food, and destinations and even if it is a bit touristy, we are glad to have made it out to some cool spots so we can say we saw more than back alleys , stages and hotel rooms.
Even if we saw nothing else, the chance to play for amazing fans is well worth the trip and a rare thing for anyone, let alone a few brothers from Tulsa. We have great memories from these incredible places and we hope to have more. In the mean time, Cheers to YOU, the fans that make so many things possible. We know exactly where the love is.
