This week we are returning to the home front after an amazing 12th year of the Back To The Island destination concert event. Each time we host this event we are blown away by the convergence of people from around the world and we feel privileged to get to host this over the top tropical music PARTY and curate such a special experience. 
 
Each year has its special moments ranging from the discovery of creative skills in one of the world's largest Pictionary competitions, complete with surprise teams participating (Phantom Planet) , special set lists that never happen anywhere but the Island plus a very wet conclusion to this years Dance Party around the pool. 
 
We loved having our musical guest Phantom Planet, and of course all of our guests from around the planet and we hope you all made it home safe and sound. 
 
As we (mostly) return to colder climates, we are looking ahead. We are also reflecting on where we have been and the gratitude we have for the incredible more than three decades we have behind us. It’s hard to believe all we have been able to do and see in this epic job of being music creators and it’s always inspiring to see those who have joined us along the way celebrating music and community. 
 
As we reflect on the places and people we have been able to see and create in, it is impossible not to think of our creative community and ALL of the families impacted by the fires in Los Angeles. The news and images of devastating loss was the only cloud over this last week's event. We send all of our west coast fans, friends and colleagues a heartfelt prayer for recovery from all that has occurred.
