This year as part of HANSON Day 2015, HANSON is starting a new tradition called, The MOEY Awards.

A MOEY award is given to an extraordinary HANSON fan.  Awards are given for a variety of achievements, from being an outstanding member of the community to the most entertaining performance in a lip sync video of a HANSON song.  Winners are selected either by members of HANSON and the 3CG team or by the Hanson.net community depending on the category. HANSON will present the winning Hanson.net Members with their MOEY awards during the State Of The Band talk at HANSON Day in Tulsa, OK on May 16th for all those able to attend.

Best Solo Lip Sync Video

Pick a song from one of HANSON’s six studio albums, setup in your bedroom with a smart phone, or hire a world-class film crew. Videos should strive to be creative, entertaining, well executed and have the performer singing the correct lyrics.

Entry Qualifications

• Must feature a song from one of HANSON’s official studio albums.
       Middle Of Nowhere
       This Time Around
       Underneath
       The Walk
       Shout It Out
       Anthem
• Video can only feature one person or creature performing the song
• Video must tag #HANSONMUSIC
• Video must be titled MOEYs Lip Sync Video: Name of Individual
• Videos must be posted on YouTube by April 12th at 11:59 pm CT
• Videos must receive at least 100 views by April 12th at 11:59 pm CT
• Send your full name, Hanson.net username and a link to your video to fungames@hanson.net with the subject “Best Solo Lip Sync Video”
• Videos will be reviewed and selected by HANSON
• Finalists will be posted on Hanson.net for voting
• Limit one(1) entry per person
• Voting will be open to active Hanson.net members
• You must be a Hanson.net Fan Club member to enter or win the contest

Best Group Lip Sync Video

Call a friend, a youth group or a team of co-workers. Pick a song from one of HANSON’s six studio albums, setup in your living-room with a smart phone, or rent a world-class soundstage. Videos should strive to be creative, entertaining, well executed, and have the all performers singing the correct lyrics.

Entry Qualifications

• Must feature a song from one of HANSON’s official studio albums

       Underneath
       The Walk
       Shout It Out
       Anthem
• Video must feature two or more people or creatures performing the song.
• Videos must be posted on YouTube by April 12th at 11:59 pm CT
• Videos must receive at least 200 views by April 12th at 11:59 pm
• Video must tag #HANSONMUSIC
• Video must be titled MOEYs Lip Sync: Name of Group
• Send full name and Hanson.net usernames for all Hanson.net members in the video along with a link to the video to contest2@hanson.net with the subject “Best Group Lip Sync Video”
• Videos will be reviewed and selected by HANSON
• Finalists will be posted on Hanson.net for voting
• Voting will be open to active Hanson.net members

Hanson.net Member MVP

HANSON has amazing members all over the world. We want to recognize exemplary members of the community who have gone above and beyond  to spread the word about HANSON, support other Hanson.net members and are simply outstanding representatives of the community. 

Entry Qualifications

• Choose one Hanson.net member that you feel has gone above and beyond
• E-mail the Hanson.net member’s full name and Hanson.net username to ST2@hanson.net with the subject “HNET Member MVP”
• Tell us why they should be given the award in 1-300 words highlighting any notable, great things about this person as an exemplary representative of the community
• Include all text within the email, no attachments
• Please do not include any photos
• HANSON will review and pick finalists
• Finalists will be posted on Hanson.net for voting
• Voting will be open to active Hanson.net members

Best Concept Album

The best concept album category features a selection of a combination of artists and producers.  To enter you select your choice of an inspiring or entertaining combination of artists and producers and put into words why it would be a great musical match. Whether your idea is serious, humorous or insidious, it is up to you to make it intriguing

• To enter create a post on your Facebook wall with these elements
       Producer
       Song Writers
       Album Title
       First Single Title
       1 to 300 word press release
• Must be posted by April 12th at 11:59 pm CT and receive 50 likes to qualify
• Post must include #Hansonmusic and #MOEYs
  
• Entries will be reviewed and finalists will be selected by HANSON

Paparazzi

Have a photo that is out of focus, photo bomb or awkward face with HANSON? The name of the game is the worst photo that includes you and one or all of the members of HANSON.

Entry Qualifications

• Enter by posting the best of your worst photo with HANSON on Instagram
• Post must include hash tag #PaparazziHanson and #MOEYs
  
• Video must be posted on Instagram by April 12th at 11:59 pm CT and have received 50 Likes
• Videos will be reviewed and finalists will be selected by HANSON
