I am trying to host a special event, including a concert. I want the concert to be with the full band + back up since that has been a while. Because Hanson really depends on their fanbase and touring with a full band is expensive, I want to host a crowdfunded concert. To invite them, to share their music and passion and create an amazing experience. Everyone can buy tickets. There are only 100 golden tickets. As a golden ticket owner you can co decide about the where and when and what. After the first 100 tickets are sold, the band will be contacted. If they are in, the normal tickets will be for sale. The 100 golden ticket owners can promote the concert and it will be amazing! If I fail to sell all the tickets, or if the band is not willing to join us, everyone will get a 100 % refund! No risks! Buy your Golden Ticket for only 35 euro here: http://www.liveondemand.com/events/Music/hanson/115

That's interesting! We just were talking about how much my friends and I would definitely do a European tour again rather than a US one. I'll tell them to check this out! :)
I don't mean to stomp on your enthusiasm about having your favorite band play in the Netherlands, but have you discussed this with them? I'm wondering how the people who purchase the first hundred tickets can decide on "the where, when and what"? Overseas travel with a full band (assuming their backup musicians are available) is an expensive proposition and Hanson's time and schedule is just that...(theirs). The band's input seems essential here. I do understand your excitement,...but maybe you should ask them first if you haven't already done so...
They don't know about it. If course their time is limited and obviously they decide how they spend it. I didn't start this request to push them into anything. I started this request because I admire them. I live their music. And I started this because I know how expensive it is to travel and tour. When you crowdfund a concert it means that everybody already pays before any money is spend by them. I just want to give them the opportunity to share music with us and I want to give international fans the opportunity to go to an unique event closer to home.
So obviously, they decide. If they can't come or don't want to come, then it won't happen and everybody gets their money back.
