I've just read an article which states that the day that people here are likely to turn on their taps and no water comes out, will be 21 April. There has been a massive drought here for about a year and, even though it has rained on three days this year so far, a lot more is needed to avert disaster.
The city has moved into deeper and deeper levels of water restrictions. I've been aware of it, but haven't really given it much attention. I am reminded of the movie Rango, where he who controls water supply controls the people.
It's going to make absolute sense to do Take The Walk for Blood:Water Mission this year. Maybe I can even connect with some organisation that is leading the save water campaigns.
