Hanson.net Forum Rules

In order to maintain a high standard of communication and ensure no Hanson.net member is made to feel unwelcome or unsafe, we require all Hanson.net members to follow these rules while interacting in the forums or communicating on Hanson.net.

  1. No Harassment or Slander - We expect all members to be cordial in all communication.
  2. No Profanity - The use of profane, suggestive or obscene language of any kind is strictly prohibited. Please note that substituting * or any other symbol in place of a letter does NOT make a word acceptable. Do not attempt to post around the site filters.
  3. No Obscene Threads or Posts - We prohibit obscene, suggestive, sexual, inappropriate, or vulgar threads and posts.
  4. No Soliciting Of Any Kind - Selling, reselling or advertising items or services of any kind is strictly prohibited, including links to ebay auctions, café press shops, and the like.
  5. No File Sharing - We do not permit members to share files of any kind through Hanson.net, especially bootleg and/or unreleased HANSON material.
  6. No Audio or Video Posting - We do not allow members to post music or video files of any kind on Hanson.net, including but not limited to, bootleg and/or unreleased HANSON material.
  7. No Spamming - Spamming includes, but is not limited to, multiple forum cross-posting, games, post counts, countdowns, repeatedly replying to your own posts, and any other activity that might be deemed disruptive to forum moderators.
  8. No Staff Harassment - Bashing, disrespecting or insulting HANSON, HANSON staff, Hanson.net staff, and/or 3CG Records personnel is not allowed.
  9. HANSON Family - Threads, posts, photos or content of any sort pertaining to band member’s children, individual family members and/or the band's personal life are not allowed.
  10. Stay On Topic - Keep forum topics within the correct forum. Topics may be moved or removed if posted in the wrong forum. No hijacking threads. Posts not pertaining to the thread topic may be deleted from the thread.
  11. No Fan Fiction - This includes, but is not limited to, links to fan fiction and posting stories in the forums.
  12. Sharing accounts is strictly prohibited.
  13. Copyright violators will be terminated immediately.

In addition, any members who are deemed to continually disrupt the forums, at our sole discretion, will be terminated, and may have their fan club membership revoked without refund. Repeated violation of any rule can and will result in termination.

We reserve the right to remove or close messages and threads that we deem unacceptable. We reserve the right to delete any message or thread from the forums for any reason without the consent of the author. We also reserve the right to remove the posting privileges and fan club memberships of members who violate the rules of forum behavior at any time without warning. Reposting of threads deleted by Hanson.net staff can and will result in immediate termination.

All forums may be cleaned out periodically as part of regular site maintenance. The Hanson.net forum should not be treated as a permanent archive.
