I can't wait for this! Have fun, guys!
This week, we officially announced HANSON Day 2019! The full event schedule will not be announced until next month, but if you are planning to attend you can RSVP in the H.net calendar section now.
We discovered that for a 27th anniversary you are supposed to give the gift of music, at which point we thought, "that’s convenient!" This year HANSON Day is going to have more music than ever. We will be performing a concert every day! On Thursday we will be hosting the Hanson.net StoryTellers concert, on Friday we will be performing String Theory with The Tulsa Symphony, on Saturday we will be hosting the free members concert, and on Sunday… more on that later. The HANSON Day event schedule will be released on the 11th of next month and for any events that require tickets, like Karaoke or the Dance Party, those can be purchased from the Hanson.net store starting on February14th, because love.
January can be a hard month to enjoy with its ice and snow, but we try to make the most of it by making it a time when we always record. This week has been all hands on deck for the 2019 members EP (title coming soon), writing and recording into the wee hours every night. Though it is not yet finished, we can’t help but get excited about sharing it. Like so many years before, we have poured on the pressure, building a patchwork quilt of songs in a wide variety of styles, but inspired by a theme. Yes, songs features tuba and kazoo, slide whistle and bassoon, but don’t let that worry you. The whole EP is rich with big melodies, songs you could imagine someone singing in their car. If we stay on track, we should finish the EP recording just in time to grab a Hawaiian shirt or two and head Back To The Island.

I want the album to be called Beercause I said so and be energetic rock songs. lol
I look forward to the new EP. From animal instincts my favorite song is "goldminer". What new melodies will hanson bring this year to delight us? I think I can not wait
I can’t. I can’t remain this turnt til May. It’s not possible. It is possible. But that doesn’t make it right.

I will wait anxiously, surely we will be surprised with this new ep
Looking forward to the new EP. The dates for Hanson Day don't match up with my vacation time, so I'll be sitting this one out. Have fun at the event, and please post pictures and video!

First year going and can’t wait
Hi everyone! I've attended HopJam the last 3 years but this will be my first time attending the Hanson Day festivities. Can someone give me a rundown on how to rsvp and when I need to do, go, be? ;-)
To RSVP go to the calendar section and you should see an RSVP button next to the first day of Hanson Day. You only need to click that button. After that go to the news section and find the latest news post so look at the schedule of what events will be available. Tickets for events will go on sale Thursday. You'll want to make sure you are prepared to purchase tickets Thursday because a lot of events tend to sell out within the day/day after they go on sale.
Also book your accommodations ASAP as that weekend is already busy and hotels are booking quickly/prices are going up.
Another stupid question. I can't get there until the 17th. Do I have to attend both events the 16th & 17th in order to go to the concert on the 18th?
I know the tickets to events go on sale at 10am on Feb. 14, but does anyone know where to go to buy the tickets? Are they next to each event like the "But Tickets" button next to the String Theory event? Do you have to get tickets to each event separately? Or will there be a place to go to buy tickets to all the events at once?
There will be links on the HDay page, but technically it's all in the Hnet store here. All tickets will be seperate, but you can do them all in one order once in your cart.
Apologies if this has already been answered. For purchasing Hanson Day event tickets, it says on sale tomorrow Feb 14. Do we know what time? I'm in the Pacific time zone. Cheers, everyone!
