With a brand new Hanson.net up and running there are a lot of changes and if you haven’t seen them yet, we hope you will come visit soon. The new media player is full music to listen to, including Hanson.net EPs from 2003 to 2018 and many of the site's sections are changed and updated to to make your time browsing better than ever.
This Tuesday we launched HNet Explorer, a community wide scavenger hunt. Every Tuesday in July we will share a new hint and members who solve the riddle get a special Pin to add to their profile. Just a few days in to our first week, we have loved watching how quickly members have come together to solve the riddle of Loch Ness. It gets us excited for next week and the rest of the month as we continue to play.
Since May we have been hosting new Episodes of the HANSON Time Podcast every Thursday talking about albums and EPs and everything from Marie Kondo to lawnmowers. We are looking back at our fourth album The Walk this week, but we're also looking forward to a very special HTP Episode for next week. Want to know what makes it so special? You're going to have to come back and see.

Looking back at songs like "Great Divide" right now is pretty timely!

As much as I would rather be seeing you guys live in concert. I am super thankful you have kept us engaged with HTP and the scavenger hunt. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

It was good to be reminded of the impetus and reality of the passion behind the Walk; how it was rooted in your experiences of the previous album, how so much of it was about the call to be true to who you are and how it was inspired by a call to realise HOPE.
I am grateful that you have encouraged, through your music, us to be open and observant. You have encouraged response that is authentic, to what moves us. That is to treasure.
Hope, Passion, Believe.

I love this scavenger hunt idea, I definitely see how strong this community is with helping one another in finding the clues.

I love the scavenger hunt, I really enjoyed it playing all together. But guys make it a little bit harder, first try was too obvious! I think it could turn out to be the ultimate Hnet summer game with some more adjustments. I will definitely look forward to it.

OK I’ll try my best I’m not very good at solving things or doing riddles very good

Totally agree SkyBlue17! I think a lot of their songs written years ago have a newfound (or maybe re-found?) meaning these days!

Pretty pins = shiny objects. I’ll admit, they provide a distraction (however temporary). I don’t believe ‘we can conquer this great divide’ by glossing over it. That changes nothing. There are much better and more enduring ways.
I just want you to know, ”Great Divide” is one of my favorite Hanson songs. 💔

100% Eek. Everyone should absolutely play Earthbound and Undertale, with the latter game showing the player how we can bridge our differences. I can’t recommend them enough.
If you’re not able to play these for whatever reason, at least watch a YouTube Let’s Player. What brings this full circle is a scene from Earthbound in Winters where Jeff ditches school to go help Ness save the world. When he makes the great departure, he rides Tessie (*cough* Nessie) to get to the next location in Winters. This scene is a cinematic one, complete with a memorable soundtrack to accompany it. I love it so much.
