HANSON: Second Show In Sydney!

With our String Theory concert in Sydney officially SOLD OUT, today we are excited share there will be a second String Theory concert at the Sydney Opera House on March 5, 2019. Hanson.net presale will start today (Friday, October 5th at 10am Sydney time) and go all weekend, with tickets going on sale to the public Monday October 8th.

It feels so good to be anticipating another amazing fall tour in the US, knowing the tour will continue through 2019. String Theory has been in the works for a long time. Looking at the music you could honestly say it is a project more than two decades in the making, but as we begin to share the fruits of our labor with US fans, and fans all over the world with the album release in November, we are already thinking about what comes next. Because there always has to be a next. Though String Theory is not an allegory for our lives, the story it tells is representative of something we have always tried to embody. Dream big, don’t settle, it will get harder than you expected, but that's to be expected. On weeks like this one, when the weather is unseasonably warm and things are moving a little slower than normal in the lead up to a tour, you can imagine us eating lunch talking about our theory of everything, about new songs, or concept albums, maybe even about being the first band to play on the moon.

I love the song and video! I definitely enjoy the new and even better versions of these songs which is weird to say since I love the original versions. The symphony is an awesome addiction to Hansin. It reminds me of when Kiss played with a symphany. The String Theory reminds me of Pink Floyd's The Wall. Also a double album about a character. However in the string theory the character has a better outcome. In the Wall the character, rock star, either dies or has an extreme breakdown where he is numb from the world around him. Your character rises above his demons. I guessed right, you added another show! That's awesome!

That's down right amazing to be able to add a second show at the Sydney Opera House. I have to admit, I'm pretty envious of all those fans who are able to attend. (It doesn't diminish my excitement for the Chicago and Tulsa shows, though.) :)

If ever I needed to hear "Joyful Noise", it was this week. The song is a favorite of mine, and it sounds fantastic with a symphony orchestra. Thank you for this!

"Concept album" caught my attention,...I wonder what the theme would be.

P.S. ...The artwork for the String Theory In Verse lyric book is looking wonderful.
