Just a few days ago on March 31st, Hanson.net celebrated its 20th anniversary! Two decades ago the internet was a completely different universe (amongst other things Hanson.net started as an ISP), but one thing has remained the same and that is this community's dedication to music. Over the years, we have shared a tremendous amount of it. Even though we are all in quarantine, we have been digging deep to share unique songs and renditions from the members exclusive catalog.
Hanson.net members, make sure to head over to the Hanson.net blog to checkout some of the songs we have been posting and be sure to come back on April 6th for more details about HANSON Day 2020 and how we plan to celebrate together in May. Nothing makes time fly faster than something to look forward to and May will be here in an MMMBop.
On a more somber note, this week we lost a good friend, Adam Schlesinger, to complications resulting from the Covid 19 virus. A long time collaborator and friend of more than twenty years (and bandmate to Taylor in Tinted Windows) we are deeply saddened at losing such a brilliant artists and good friend. We encourage you to discover his work online, listen to it loud and like us, take stock of the friends (and the songs) that keep us company through the good days and the bad.

Im so sorry about adam. Isaac was torn up on the stream last night. I cant imagine how taylors doing.

Thank you for the music! All the music through the years... Isaac's Quaranstreams... the hnet 20th videos... I truly can't thank you guys enough for all of it. These unprecedented times are testing all of us and I know many of us are looking to what brings us comfort. For me, it is Hanson.

I must add though that my mind is blown that Taylor Hanson was a part of another band back in 2009? Never knew this till now, checking out the music.

Sorry to hear the news. I recently lost a colleague due to issues unrelated to COVID-19. For me, Art and music has been my escape from pain. We’re all in this together.

I went to a Hanson concert in like, 2005 or so, not sure the exact year, and there was this dark haired guy standing right near me the whole time that a lot of people were fanning over. After an hour, I asked the girl next to me, Who is that? She said That's Adam Schlessinger from Fountains of Wayne! Oh my gosh, that was very cool. He was diagonally across from me. Then we saw Rachael Ray and her husband there too. Another very cool find!
So sorry about Adam, though, I know he was a very dear friend and such an incredible musician.

I've heard it put a way that best describes the nature of things: Your spirit isn't in your body, your body is in your spirit.
We are more than just the bits in between the energy, more than just this configuration at this time. This time serves a purpose and it is full of wonder but it is a place of preparation.
But until that time you do meet again, may you find peace while missing your friend.

So sorry for your loss. It is such a dark time for everyone but music has been my therapy and even more so now with everything happening around us and affecting us all.
