Awesome Zac! Thanks for adding to YouTube, so much easier to share on social media from there.

:D Thank you for posting some of the songs from the streams. Any chance we get those from the members side?! I missed some due to browser issues and didn't catch the restream last weekend (didn't know it didn't extend past Sunday! *Sigh*).
Excited that Winter Wonderland will be on the new album!

Holy cow!  Absolutely *LOVING* "This Ain't No Silent Night"!!!!!!!  ...Do we really have to wait 'til next Christmas?  :(

I love you guys! ☺

My favorite part of the Christmas stream was Winter Wonderland, for the sweet groove and Zac's vocal...but I totally missed the little nod to Vince Guaraldi/Charlie Brown/"Linus and Lucy" in the keyboard solo. L O V E. Leave it to Hanson to put an "Easter egg" in a Christmas song ;)

The "Ooh Christmas" video cracked me up. It seems like it's just a chat between Taylor and Isaac and Marko, but then all of a sudden there's the Voice of Zac... trapped in his drummer bubble.

And I'm just really happy to have something to look forward to for next Christmas already.

These videos remind me of when my sister and I bought Snowed In. We were in a moment when we were anxious to hear how Hanson would sound after MON, with some voice changes due to the puberty. The album has started with Taylor's "Yeah!" on "Merry Christmas Baby" and I clearly remember to look at my sister and we both were like "Yeah!!!". That was the spark we were waiting for to be sure it would sound great! It's just a thing we remember till nowadays. :)

Great news, I really love performance videos and the making of Snowed in is very cute. Thank you for uploading them, I really appreciate that you have been trying to resolve the technical problems of the members' only stream... However, my favourite parts of the streams are usually the chatting and the Q&A segments and I'm a little let down that I (like many other fans) couldn't watch them... are there any chances that those segments will be uploaded too? Thank you :-)

@Bron1980 that video is in the Video section, but I can't remember if it's public (I think it is). It's under one of the 2015 stream's folders.

So is the album going to be called ooh christmas? I'm a little confused.

@sunnyday25  far as I know, Wintry Mix is the still the title. :) I think "ohh Christmas" was  for "Blue Christmas"

Posted Dec 16, 2016   12:32:56 AM

I think the Ooh Christmas being the title was a joke and the media ran with it.

Posted Dec 16, 2016   07:27:59 AM

@Katie I think you're right. Come on Entertainment Weekly, step your reporting game up #FakeNews

Posted Dec 16, 2016   08:35:34 AM

I've seen 6 articles now about the tweets Zac made last night and only 1 referred to it as "Wintery Mix"  1 mentioned no title but the others were all about "Ooh Christmas"

Posted Dec 16, 2016   08:40:26 AM

This is why there's a difference between how you make an announcement to the fan community (which has been paying attention all along/recognizes that "Ooh Christmas" is not a real title) and the general public. Hanson, if you need some PR counsel, I'm on LinkedIn...

I'm kidding. It's actually not a big deal at all, especially since it's a year away...and it would be kind of cute/funny if they were just like "well, guess that's that" and changed "Wintry Mix" to "Ooh Christmas."

Posted Dec 16, 2016   08:52:07 AM

It's kind of funny.  All the press they've been getting lately has been a year too soon.  The MMMBop is 20 this summer (which I mean I guess it was but most of the public doesn't care about the indie release) and now a Christmas album is coming next year! By next year the general public will be like "Didn't all this already happen?"

But I can't get behind them changing the title to Ooh Christmas lol

Posted Dec 16, 2016   09:04:47 AM

Yeah. I'm thinking in particular of the "20 years since MMMBop" Vulture article, which was outstanding, but absolutely should have been part of their big 25/7/20th anniversary of MON push (I assume the reporter, who seemed like a fan, was the one who reached out to them and for whatever reason they didn't say "hey great story idea, would you consider sitting on it for a year?" Or maybe they did, and she said no).

Lately I've been seeing some fans tweeting James Corden about having Hanson on Carpool Karaoke and I want to be like "slow your roll! Save it for spring of 2017!!" When they have a major tour to sell tickets to and/or new full-length album to promote is when they should be putting energy behind generating buzz beyond the fan community, not now when the Christmas album is a year off and the only stuff happening for the next six months is BTTI and MOE (fan-club only events).

@Kelly you need to be in charge. You can be Toby and CJ (roles merged) and I'll be Josh.

Posted Dec 16, 2016   09:49:40 AM

@Paola Better let me stick to Toby's role. I swear too much to brief the press every day ;) ;) ;)

I had the feeling that the guys wanted to keep it quite at the beginning... if I remember correctly, the first photos posted online were taken from Mark Hudson's social accounts; the guys probably decided to share more pictures and videos because the news were already floating and fans were excited about it

@kelly I think it's good that they did those interviews this year because it's still publicity, but mo importantly, because refusing them is not a good way to keep good relationship with media

I'm sure that if they want, they will able to do a lot of promotion thanks to the anniversary of MON.. we still don't know what they want to do before the tour, hopefully they'll tell us more
