Aww well when you do find out, be sure to let us know! I love babies, as long as they are not my own. I am the 2nd oldest of 7 grandchildren so I saw all my cousins grow up, on top of my nephew, on top of my boyfriends 2 nieces and nephews...and they are all enough birth control for me lol. I will babysit and enjoy those however many hours and that's enough for me. I babysat my nephew for 6 hours when he was like a year and a half and he was every whereeeeeee and I was exhausted LMAO...I give props to all the mothers of the world. I do NOT know how you do it.

congrats hitzsoccer. I can't wait to feel mine move, I'm about 16 weeks along so it should happen pretty soon. I had my appointment today (with no ultrasound) but I did get to hear the heart beat which is still pretty cool to me. This is my first baby so everything had been really exciting! |

I'm almost 10 weeks along now, I had an ultrasound rather early (because of medical reasons) at 7 weeks but it was really amazing to see the heartbeat. I'm due on March 22nd, my grandmother's birthday! Today when I got home I found out my mum had brought over the 'nine month' basket she made for us. It's filled with little presents and we have to open one every month. |

Mary My dream finally came true on November 3rd 2008 in Chicago. I went on the Walk, and got a chance to talk to Taylor Hanson. He actually hugged me. Dreams really do come true. Chicago 11-3-2008 If you want to see a photo of Taylor and I then go to my myspace. Its my default. |

Haha, that's cute. It definitely feels like my little girl is like squeezing my bladder sometimes. Then you feel like you have 5 gallons of pee to release, but then only a tiny bit comes out....kinda disappointing lol. Oh, and every time I sneeze...I pee a little. lol

Congrats to all you future and current mom's. I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and found out at 19 weeks that we're expecting a BOY!!! Hiss due date is January 13th. I felt him moving rather early. Just slight flutters which i wasn't even sure if i was really feeling what i thought b/c i was only about 14 weeks along. Now at 21 weeks he's quite the squirmer and i can even see my stomach moving now when he kicks. It's really an amazing experience. lilleanna0006 : Even though the necessary parts are completely formed to tell the sex of the baby by 16 weeks, Dr.s ususally prefer to wait until atleast 20weeks before doing and ultrasound and finding out the sex, b/c before 19 weeks there is a great chance that the Dr. will be wrong, just b/c everything isn't as clear when the baby is still that small. They'll definitely do an ultrasound at your 20 weeks appointment. Make sure you drink something a little caffienated (even though caffiene isn't good while pregnant, a little bit for each ultrasound won't hurt. It'll get the kid moving so it's more likely to go spread eagle and show it's goods. I've had a bunch of friends who went to find out the sex of their baby and it decided to stay still and keep it's legs closed. So either eat some candy or half a cup of coffee and it'll sure to be dancing for you. Go figure that mine was going crazy in there and was also playing with himself. Of course that would be my child. lol I wouldn't expect anything less. hitzforever77 : at your first appointment they usually check your weight, take a urine sample and they actually will do a pregnancy test just to make sure. Then if you haven't had one within the year they're do a pap and other tests. if you have had one with them you won't need one or if you had one with another Dr. you'll have to transfer over your files or else they'll do another one. They'll then check your abdomen and check and make sure your cervix isn't tilted. Unless you're getting your prenatal visits done at a hospital you'll have to go to a lab to get all your blood work done. I love talking to other pregnant ladies and it's a big plus if they're also hanson fans so feel free to add me on myspace if you have it. www.myspace.com/jaisi Hartford 10/22 |

Hey Everyone! Congrats on all the pregnancies!!! I, too, am expecting my first little one :) I found out about a month and a half ago that I was pregnant but as I was on the pill, no one can figure out when I'm due (go figure, story of my life). So get this..my doctor concludes from my blood test that I was between 5-10 weeks, so I went in for an ultrasound and baby is no where to be found!! I'm kind of worried, anyone ever heard of anything like that?

Not to scare you, but it's common for there to be a sac with no baby inside. It's called a blighted ovum. A blighted ovum does not contain an embryo and is only the placenta and sac. it's usually due to chromosomal problems (usually this is the cause) the baby did not form past a certain point (which happens very early in the pregnancy) and was reabsorbed by the mothers body. Your body sometimes does not realize this has happened for quite a while (which would be a missed miscarriage). The other thing could be an ectopic pregnancy, where the egg implants itself outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube. I'm sure they checked your ovaries and fallopian tubes during the ultrasound though. Hopefully you're just not as far along as the HCG levels in your blood are saying and the baby is just too small to see yet. I wish you the best of luck and i hope everything is fine.
