My sister had the books for months and I put off reading them because I thought they sounded lame, but yesterday I read Twilight cover to cover.  Yes,  it was that good!!!  Tell me your thoughts, people.  I need to get this excitement off my chest.  *giggles ridiculously*  Can't wait for the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh man, if you think Twilight is good continue with the series girl!!!!  I just finished Breaking Dawn and it is probably the greatest book I have ever read in my entire life.  It's basically the greatest book in the history of the world.

P.S. I'm a die-hard Twilight fan ;)

::giggles::  I just finished Eclipse in one day (pretty good for 600 pages!) and I also read Twilight in one day.  I just couldn't put them down.  With New Moon, I literally read until my eyes closed against my will, so I can't claim the "one day" thing, LOL.  I'm about to start Breaking Dawn, but at 750 pages, it's gonna be an early startSealed

Tayslovergurl, you have to read the books (I'm excited for you!!)Laughing

Unfortunately, we don't get the movie until January, grrrrrrrrrrrrrr :: shows fangs::

I love the series. Lots of people seem to be sorely disappointed with Breaking Dawn, but I personally loved it.

I've read and heard that the Twilight movie strays a bit from the book, which will probably drive me crazy, but that won't stop me from seeing it and hoping for the best.

I LOVE Twilight, New Moon, and Eclispe.  I couldn't put any of them down.  Breaking Dawn however...the whole time I was reading all I could think was "wtf!"

I'm just going to forget I ever read it and pretend the series ended with Eclipse.

I'm not seeing the movie either, too many books I've loved have been butchered by turning them into film.  I don't want to see Cedric Diggory in my head every time I think of Edward!

Okay, I've read a few chapters (maybe 120-ish pages), and I can handle it so far, but I've heard the "it sucked" rumours too.  I must say, I'm kinda getting a bit miffed with Bella (but I still like her).  I just can't get the whole Jacob thing out of my head!!  Anyway, is Cedric Diggory the guy who plays Edward?  I've seen a pic of the cast and think they look okay.  It'll do for me (I ain't that hard to pleaseTongue out)

I'll let you know what I think when I finish the book.  I've got school today and tomorrow, so it'll prob take a few days, but check back, 'cause I'm sure I'll want to gossip/complain/something =D

Just make sure if you want to talk specifics that you put a big SPOILER ALERT in the beginning, or maybe even start a new thread with a spoiler alert in the title so it doesn't ruin anything for those who haven't read of finished reading the books.

I am so excited for the movie. By the time 12.12 rolls around I probably will have seen half the movie on youtube clips, lol. I am trying not to let that happen. I think most of the cast is spot-on, with a couple of exceptions like Charlie. The guy who plays Charlie just does not fit my mental image at all.

Looking forward to the Rock Boat!!!

oh my gawd!

i so love them all

i was in the school library before school ended and the librarian gave me twilight, and i was like what? he told me to read it and get back to him for the other two. so i read it in a day i think and took it back and demanded the others, but, dom being dom, didnt have them in.

in the end i went out and bought them before i went away and had read them all. so i got home on the 3rd and went out about 1pm on the 4th when the book was released and had finished it by midnight. i was that engrossed in the book i dont think i ate...

i saw the trailer for the film and am disappointed with the casting of edward, but hey, ill be there watching it when it comes out!

yeah, they're really hard to put down.  I can't stop reading them.  I read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse each five times now and I'm almost done with my second time around with Breaking Dawn.  And as soon as I'm done with Breaking Dawn--again--I'll start the series over.  Haha, I have a very unhealthy obsession and I clearly have attachment issues : P

First time for me to fall for a fictional charactor, not sure how to cope?

Someone should start a Fictional Charactor lovers support group or something.

I bought the books on a whim a week before Breaking Dawn came out. Tons of people were talking about them, but I'd never been interested in vampire stories, so I never planned on reading them.

Yeah well, I read them all within the week I bought them and then went to the midnight release party at Borders for Breaking Dawn. And then I read Breaking Dawn the same night I bought it. (Yes, in one night.. I didn't sleep until I was done.)

I can't wait for the movie either! I didn't even know there was going to be one until I went to Stephanie Meyer's website to read the outtakes from the books. Now, I can't stop watching the trailers. I want it to be December already!

Oh my gosh. My best friend bugged me forever to read Twilight, and I was all skeptical and stuff, like "It's about vampires?" Haha. Then I finally read it and it was amazing! I bought all the first three last summer, and I've re-read them so many times. Needless to say, my friend and I were at Barnes and Noble at midnight to get our copies of Breaking Dawn. ;D (I really want to rant about it, but I don't wanna post spoilers!)

10.26.08 was awesome!
