I think Hanson should pass around a jar or something for people to put money in. They might already do that...I've never been on a walk before. Someone would have to watch that no one steals money out of it though, but I don't really think that would happen. Sorry if someone has already said the same thing I did.

I can definitely make something for the bake sale. And I'll keep ya posted if I come up with other fundraising ideas.

I still don't really understand the whole purpose of the walks, but I feel like if they wanted to make it a fundraister, they would.  Zac is also quoted on the Taking The Walk page saying  "We are not going to guilt you into opening your wallet, or try and overwhelm you with the amount of influential people and celebrityies that agree with us."

I know at the Webster Theator show on the first leg of The Walk tour they out a box out for donations....like i said, im confused about the whole walk thing anyways, so do whatever. 

I didnt read this entire post but I really like the idea. But if it hasnt already been mentioned, I believe that donating a dollar or more should be an option to everyone whether they take the walk or not. So you can just word it like, whoever wants to donate can in any amount. Dont specify how much, so maybe people will give more or at least what they can and not feel like they have to donate to walk. Many fans go to multiple shows and that can add up. This may sound greedy but it cant since its to help others. To do things in the world you need money and thats a fact. Just an idea, again I didnt read this whole thing but I wanted to put my 2 cents in hehe. thanks.

Hey guys! Just saw this post, I kinda skimmed through it.

But I think this is a fantastic idea!! have buckets or something outside of shows or at walks...or even set up a table at our Universities we attend for even just a few hours...so what if you only raise $5, it's $5 Aids victims in Africa never had. and when hanson comes to our towns we can give them the money for them to give to the charity of their choice.

whoever started this idea should set up like a facebook page or something and really get it organized, I'll volunteer to help if you need it!  I'm currently working on a "Walk Tour Memories" type of webpage, maybe I can incorporate the fundraiser into it? give talley's of where we're at throughout the tour? Pictures of elaborately decorated buckets a designated person brings to shows, or car washes etc...or hell that could all be put on a facebook page too...

just an idea! atleast with the crackbook it's easy to invite friends to the cause :)
